Feb. 1 Deadline to Obtain Electronic Certification from DPH
If you have not already, patients should take immediate steps to switch from a paper certification from their physician to an electronic certification through the Department of Public Health's Medical Use of Marijuana Online System. .
Paper certifications from physicians issued before February 1, 2015 will no longer be sufficient for compliance with registration requirements under state marijuana regulations, according to the DPH.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health Medical Use of Marijuana Online System (MMJ Online System) is available for qualifying patients and caregivers to register with the State to possess marijuana for medical purposes.
